As a Shipping and Logistics Coordinator, you'll play a vital role in ensuring the efficient and timely movement of goods. You'll serve as the key point of contact between internal teams, logistics providers, carriers, and customers, managing both inbound and outbound shipments including domestic and international freight. What You'll Do

As a Shipping and Logistics Coordinator, you will be responsible for:
  • Coordinating and managing outbound and inbound shipments with third-party logistics (3PL) providers and carriers, ensuring accuracy and efficiency.
  • Creating and processing shipping documents such as Bills of Lading, packing lists, and shipping labels.
  • Scheduling and tracking truckload, less-than-truckload, and parcel shipments to guarantee on-time deliveries.
  • Preparing and managing documentation for international shipments, including commercial invoices, export paperwork, and customs compliance.
  • Communicating shipment status, delays, and updates proactively to customers and internal teams.
  • Collaborating with warehouse, production, and customer service teams to align shipping schedules and fulfill customer expectations.
  • Ensuring the accuracy of freight billing, assisting with cost tracking, and reconciliation.
  • Monitoring carrier performance, addressing service issues promptly, and maintaining strong carrier relationships.
  • Maintaining detailed records of shipments, freight documentation, and logistics activities.
  • Identifying opportunities for process improvements and cost efficiencies within logistics operations.
  • Performing other duties and assignments as directed by management.

What You'll Bring

The ideal candidate will have:
  • At least 2 years of experience in shipping, logistics, or supply chain coordination.
  • Experience working with 3PL providers and freight carriers.
  • Strong knowledge of domestic and international shipping processes, documentation, and compliance.
  • Familiarity with Bills of Lading, Incoterms, and freight terms preferred.
  • Excellent organizational skills with high attention to detail.
  • Effective communication and customer service abilities.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Outlook); experience with ERP or TMS systems is a plus.
  • Ability to multitask and prioritize effectively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong teamwork skills and the ability to adapt to changing priorities.
  • Flexibility to perform duties outside of regular hours when needed.
  • Commitment to punctuality and reliable attendance.

Location & Schedule:

This is an on-site position located in Solon, Ohio, with standard weekday hours from 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM. Candidates should be available for occasional extended hours or early/late shifts as needed.
