Our comprehensive offering includes hundreds of products that enable us to custom tailor equipment solutions that meet the production line objectives, labor goals, budget constraints and brand image of our customers.Summary: The Shipping and Logistics Coordinator is responsible for coordinating domestic and international shipments to ensure products, equipment, and service parts are delivered accurately, efficiently, and on time. This position works closely with customers, vendors, carriers, freight brokers, and internal departments to schedule shipments, prepare shipping documentation, manage transportation-related activities, resolve shipping exceptions, and maintain accurate shipment records within company systems. The role also provides operational support within the warehouse and fulfillment environment as needed.Essential Duties and Responsibilities:Coordinate domestic and international shipments, including parcel, LTL, truckload, and expedited freightObtain freight quotes, schedule pickups and deliveries, and communicate shipment status with customers, carriers, vendors, and internal teamsPrepare and maintain shipping documentation including Bills of Lading, commercial invoices, certificates of origin, labels, and other required recordsProcess and maintain accurate shipment information, freight costs, tracking numbers, dimensions, weights, serial numbers, and shipping records within company systemsResolve shipping exceptions including delays, freight claims, damaged shipments, address corrections, returns, and delivery issuesCoordinate specialized shipments including export orders, equipment installations, customer-arranged freight, and trade show shipmentsSupport warehouse operations through picking, packing, labeling, staging, loading, unloading, and inventory counting as neededMaintain compliance with company safety policies and transportation requirements while promoting a safe and organized work environmentIdentify opportunities to improve shipping accuracy, efficiency, and customer service Education and/or Experience: RequiredHigh school diploma or GEDStrong organizational skills and attention to detailAbility to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environmentEffective written and verbal communication skillsBasic computer proficiency including Microsoft Outlook, Excel, and WordAbility to accurately interpret shipping documents, packing lists, labels, and customer instructionsPreferred1-3 years of shipping, logistics, transportation, warehouse, or supply chain experienceExperience with parcel, LTL, and international freight processesExperience with ERP, WMS, TMS, or carrier shipping systemsMicrosoft Dynamics 365 experience preferredExperience preparing import/export or international shipping documentationPowered Industrial Truck certification or willingness to obtain certificationPhysical Demands:While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to talk or hear.
