Shipping & Receiving Associate - Aerospace Industry

Position Summary

Seeking a detail-oriented Shipping & Receiving Associate to support daily warehouse and logistics operations within a fast-paced aerospace manufacturing environment. This role is responsible for receiving, inspecting, organizing, packaging, and shipping aerospace components while ensuring accuracy, traceability, and compliance with company quality standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Receive incoming materials, parts, and shipments and verify accuracy against purchase orders and packing slips
• Inspect incoming and outgoing products for damage, labeling accuracy, and compliance with quality standards
• Package and prepare aerospace components for domestic and international shipment
• Maintain accurate inventory records and perform data entry in ERP or warehouse management systems
• Organize stockroom and warehouse materials to ensure efficient material flow
• Coordinate with production, quality, and purchasing departments regarding shipment schedules and material shortages
• Generate shipping labels, bills of lading, and related shipping documentation
• Ensure compliance with aerospace, safety, and company procedures during handling and shipment of materials
• Operate pallet jacks, forklifts, and other warehouse equipment as needed
• Assist with cycle counts and inventory audits

Qualifications

• Previous experience in shipping, receiving, warehouse, or logistics operations preferred
• Aerospace, manufacturing, or regulated industry experience highly desired
• Familiarity with inventory systems, ERP software, and shipping platforms
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and work in a warehouse environment
• Basic computer and data entry skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team

Preferred Skills

• Experience with aerospace documentation and traceability requirements
• Knowledge of FedEx, UPS, DHL, and freight shipping processes
• Forklift certification a plus
• Understanding of quality control and material handling procedures
