Shipping and Receiving Assistant

The Shipping and Receiving Assistant plays a vital role in supporting the logistics operations within a manufacturing environment. Working closely with a small, focused team, this position ensures accurate and efficient handling of inventory through day shifts, operating key equipment such as forklifts and pallet jacks. Attention to detail and physical stamina are essential to maintain smooth order processing and shipment coordination.

Responsibilities

• Manage inventory to maintain accurate stock levels
• Process incoming and outgoing orders promptly
• Coordinate shipments to meet delivery schedules
• Pack and label goods according to standards
• Operate forklift and pallet jack safely
• Perform heavy lifting as required

Required Qualifications

• 3+ years experience in shipping and receiving
• Proficient forklift operation skills
• Experienced in packing and labeling
• Strong attention to detail
• Physical stamina for heavy lifting
• Ability to work effectively in a team
• Basic computer skills
• Clean background with no felonies
