Shipping And Receiving Associate

Our client, a leading logistics and supply chain organization, is seeking a Shipping And Receiving Associate to join their team. As a Shipping And Receiving Associate, you will be part of the warehouse operations supporting the logistics team. The ideal candidate will have strong attention to detail, reliability, and teamwork skills, which will align successfully in the organization.

Job Title: Shipping And Receiving Associate

Location: Gilman, CT

Pay Range: $22

Shift: 1st

What's the Job?

• Receive, inspect, and verify incoming shipments against purchase orders and packing slips
• Accurately prepare, package, label, and ship outgoing orders
• Load and unload trucks using pallet jacks, forklifts, or other material-handling equipment (as applicable)
• Maintain accurate inventory records through computer-based systems or ERP software
• Stage materials for production or outbound shipment as needed

What's Needed?

• High school diploma or GED required
• Previous shipping and/or receiving experience preferred
• Basic computer skills required (data entry, inventory systems, Microsoft Outlook/Excel)
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy
• Ability to follow written and verbal instructions
