Shipping & Receiving Clerk
Location: Near Fultonville, NY
Pay Rate: $20 - $25 per hour

Position Overview
Our manufacturing client is seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Shipping & Receiving Clerk to support daily warehouse and logistics operations. This role is responsible for managing incoming and outgoing shipments, maintaining organized inventory, and ensuring accurate documentation to keep operations running efficiently.
This is a hands-on position ideal for someone who enjoys a fast-paced environment and takes pride in accuracy and organization.
Key Responsibilities
Shipping & Receiving OperationsPrepare and process outgoing shipments to ensure timely and accurate delivery
Receive incoming materials, inspect for accuracy and condition, and record inventory data
Organize and store inventory for easy access and efficient workflow
Inventory & DocumentationMaintain accurate shipping and receiving records and reports
Enter and track order data within internal systems and Excel
Monitor inventory levels and report discrepancies or damage
Logistics CoordinationSchedule shipments and coordinate logistics to support operational needs
Troubleshoot shipping issues and resolve discrepancies with vendors or carriers
Assist with ordering shipping supplies and maintaining stock levels
General Warehouse SupportMaintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment
Operate equipment such as pallet jacks or forklifts as needed
Provide general administrative and clerical support related to shipping operations
QualificationsHigh school diploma or equivalent required
1-2 years of experience in shipping, receiving, warehouse, or inventory roles
Strong attention to detail and accuracy
Proficiency with basic computer systems and Microsoft Excel
Strong communication and organizational skills
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Preferred:Experience in manufacturing or distribution environments
Forklift or material handling equipment experience
Physical RequirementsAbility to lift up to 50 pounds regularly
Ability to stand, walk, bend, and move throughout the workday
Comfortable working in a warehouse or manufacturing setting with appropriate safety equipment
