Education Requirements

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.

Experience Requirements

• Experience using handheld scanners and inventory management systems.
• Ability to safely handle materials and follow established warehouse procedures.
• Basic computer skills, including Microsoft Outlook, Excel, and Word.

Job Duties

• Ensure compliance with all workplace safety policies and contribute to a strong safety-first culture.
• Process material transactions and shipping requests generated through MRP systems and project demands.
• Verify incoming, outgoing, and consolidated shipments using handheld scanners and computer-based inventory systems.
• Support continuous improvement initiatives to enhance warehouse efficiency and logistics processes.
• Participate in ongoing training to stay current on systems, procedures, and operational best practices.
• Assemble and kit multi-component orders according to MRP requirements.
• Assist with inventory management, cycle counts, and audit activities.
• Maintain organized shipping and receiving areas by following 5S and warehouse housekeeping standards.
• Collaborate with internal teams to ensure timely and accurate material flow across the facility.

What You Will Do

As a Shipping and Receiving Associate you will receive incoming shipments, inspect materials, prepare outbound orders, verify inventory, organize warehouse stock, complete shipping and receiving documentation, and help maintain accurate inventory records. You will safely move products throughout the warehouse while supporting efficient shipping, receiving, and order fulfillment operations.

A Shipping and Receiving Associate helps keep warehouse operations running efficiently by coordinating the receipt, storage, movement, and shipment of products. This position requires strong organizational abilities, careful attention to detail, and a commitment to safety and accuracy.
