Shipping and Receiving Associate (WAREHOUSE)

Westfield Electroplating Company is seeking a Shipping and Receiving Associate to join our Shipping team.

Position Goals:

The goals of this position are to assist the Shipping & Receiving Department in their general laborer, clerical, warehouse and driving needs.

WEPCO is family owned and operated and currently employs 200 highly skilled platers, painters, and technicians. Skills/ Requirements

• Medical DOT Card
• Clean Driving Record
• Must have a valid Driver License Class D
• Forklift and Fork Truck
• Strong communication skills
• Must have ability to work in a collaborative team environment
• Solid organizational and multi-tasking skills
• High school diploma or equivalent is required
• Strong Customer Service Skills
• Strong Computer Skill Required

Tasks:

• Handling incoming and outgoing packages
• Perform company data entry from a purchase order (PO)
• Scanning operations
• Occasional Deliveries (Local Customers and WEPCO Paint Shop
• Drive Customer Routes (1-2xs a week)
• Load and unload trucks
• Receive UPS and FedEx packages
• Support Packaging/Production Department
• Support 5S initiatives within the Department
