Job Title: Shipping and Receiving Clerk – 1st Shift
Job Description
This role focuses on shipping and receiving activities in a clean, well-organized warehouse environment. You will operate a sit-down forklift to move materials, build pallets withitems weighing up to 50 pounds, and accurately track inventory using computer-based systems, including an iPad mounted on the forklift.
Responsibilities
Operate a sit-down forklift to move materials safely throughout the warehouse.
Handle materials and build pallets, lifting and positioning items up to 50 pounds as needed.
Perform daily shipping and receiving tasks, including loading and unloading materials.
Use an iPad attached to the forklift to record and track pallet loads and inventory movements.
Maintain accurate inventory records using computer inventory software and inventory control procedures.
Support general production and material handling needs in the warehouse.
Keep the work area clean, organized, and free of hazards.
Follow all safety guidelines and standard operating procedures while operating equipment and handling materials.
Essential Skills
Experience operating a sit-down forklift or similar powered industrial equipment.
Background in shipping and receiving, general labor, or material handling.
Ability to lift and move items up to 50 pounds safely and repeatedly.
Familiarity with computer inventory software or digital inventory tracking tools.
Basic understanding of inventory, inventory control, and general production processes.
Ability to follow instructions accurately and work efficiently in a warehouse setting.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
Previous forklift experience is a strong plus.
Experience in assembly work, such as putting together equipment or products.
Background in roles involving product assembly or installation, such as mounting televisions or assembling equipment like snow plows or lawn mowers.
Comfort using tablets or handheld devices, such as an iPad, for work-related tasks.
Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.

Work Environment
The position is based in a large, former retail warehouse that has been converted into a modern, well-lit, and clean industrial space. Although the building itself is very large, your actual work area is a typical warehouse setting with wide open spaces, large racking systems, and a dedicated area where tanks are built. You will regularly use sit-down forklifts, racking, and an iPad mounted to the forklift for inventory tracking. The environment is organized and geared toward efficient material flow and safe equipment operation, with a focus on maintaining a clean and orderly workspace.

This is a Permanent position based out of Wrightstown, WI.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $18.50 - $23.00/hr.
