Description

Responsibilities:
- Provide information to lead operators for orders to be filled and shipped also provide status of incoming shipments to production / maintenance / purchasing personnel.
- Provide all accurate documents for shipping and receiving procedures.
- Coordinate all incoming shipments, verify accuracy, receive it in the computer system accordingly and communicate receipt to appropriate personnel.
- Responsible for entering accurate data in ERP system used for daily/weekly/monthly reports and reconciliation.
- Obtain freight quotes from carriers (domestic) and brokers/steamship companies for export.
Qualifications:
- High school degree is .
- Associate’s degree in a related field preferred.
- Warehouse or logistics experience .
- Good communication and leadership skills .
- Prior experience in an administrative role within a shipping/receiving/logistics department is strongly preferred.
