Are you a hands-on team player who enjoys working in a fast-paced warehouse environment? We are looking for a Shipping and Receiving Clerk to join our Operations team and play a key role in ensuring products are received, stored, packed and shipped accurately and efficiently. In this role, you will support daily warehouse operations, maintain inventory accuracy and help deliver an excellent experience for our customers while working in a safe and collaborative environment.
Key responsibilities
Fulfil customer orders accurately and efficiently from warehouse stock.
Receive incoming goods and book them into the ERP system using electronic devices.
Pick, pack and prepare orders for shipment, ensuring appropriate packaging methods are used.
Create shipping labels and attach all required shipping documentation.
Operate manual handling equipment and forklifts (where trained and authorised) to move materials safely.
Support inventory accuracy by maintaining organised warehouse locations and stock records.
Assist with the packaging and crating of large items, including learning military packaging requirements where applicable.
Follow all company health, safety and quality procedures.
Support general warehouse and shipping activities as required.
Key requirements
Previous warehouse, logistics, shipping or receiving experience is advantageous but not essential.
Forklift operation experience is beneficial; training may be provided for the right candidate.
Ability to perform physical work, including lifting and moving items of up to 50 lbs (23 kg).
Basic computer skills and familiarity with Microsoft Office applications.
Good attention to detail and accuracy when handling inventory and shipment documentation.
Ability to read, write and communicate effectively in English.
Strong teamwork skills and a proactive, can-do attitude.
Commitment to maintaining a safe and organised work environment.
Ability to follow written and verbal instructions and solve practical problems effectively.
