Be a Key Part of the Team.Power Temp Systems, Inc is seeking a dependable, hands-on Shipping & Receiving Coordinator to support daily shipping, receiving, inventory, and warehouse operations. This role is critical to ensuring industrial products move accurately, efficiently, and safely to our customers.This position is ideal for candidates with direct warehouse shipping & receiving experience, mechanical aptitude, and familiarity with industrial products.Who We ArePower Temp Systems, Inc is a Houston-based provider of temporary power and industrial equipment solutions supporting commercial, industrial, and energy-sector customers. Our team is built on accountability, safety, and a strong work ethic.What You Will DoCoordinate hands-on inbound and outbound shipmentsPrepare shipping documents including bills of lading, packing slips, and work ordersReceive, verify, stage, and palletize industrial materials and partsPerform light quality checks and report discrepancies or damaged materialsCoordinate carrier pickups (UPS, FedEx, LTL freight carriers)Maintain organized inventory and clean warehouse areasAssist with basic mechanical or parts handling as a backup when neededFollow all safety policies and proceduresWhat We Are Looking ForMinimum 5 years of related shipping & receiving experience in a warehouse or industrial environmentExperience shipping industrial, mechanical, or MRO productsFamiliarity with UPS and FedEx shipping systems (LTL experience a plus)Knowledge of proper packing, staging, and freight documentationForklift certification requiredAbility to pull and back a trailerBasic mechanical aptitude or experience handling industrial partsStrong attention to detail and ability to multitaskClear driving record requiredThis is a hands-on warehouse role. Candidates seeking office-only or dispatch-only positions may not be a good fit.Schedule & Work EnvironmentFull-time | Generally 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM, with overtime as neededMinimal to no travel requiredPhysical demands include lifting, carrying, pushing, or pulling up to 50 lbsSteel toe boots and safety glasses required in designated areas
