Shipping and Receiving Clerk

Schedule:

Monday – Friday: 5:00 AM – 1:30 PM

10-hour shifts required

Must be open to overtime and Saturdays

Job Summary:

We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Shipping & Receiving Clerk to join a busy custom window fabrication company in Phoenix, AZ. This role is responsible for handling incoming and outgoing shipments, maintaining accurate inventory, and supporting production to ensure timely order fulfillment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Receive, inspect, and verify incoming materials and supplies
• Prepare, package, and ship finished window products
• Load and unload trucks using pallet jacks or forklifts (if certified)
• Maintain accurate shipping/receiving logs and inventory records
• Coordinate with production to ensure materials are available
• Label, organize, and store materials properly
• Perform quality checks on incoming and outgoing items
• Assist with inventory counts and tracking
• Maintain a clean and safe work environment

Qualifications:

• Previous shipping & receiving or warehouse experience required
• Manufacturing or fabrication experience (windows, glass, construction materials) preferred
• Ability to read packing slips, work orders, and shipping documents
• Basic computer skills
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for long periods
• Strong attention to detail and organization
• Reliable and able to work in a fast-paced environment

Requirements:

• Must be open to 10-hour shifts and overtime
• Must be available to work Saturdays as needed
• Steel-toe boots required
• Forklift experience is a plus
