Shipping and Receiving Clerk

Madden Industrial Craftsmen is seeking a Shipping and Receiving Specialist for one of our clients located in Vancouver, WA. The Shipping and Receiving Specialist is responsible for shipping and receiving operations, ensuring accurate documentation, organizing inventory, and maintaining a safe working environment. They collaborate with various departments to coordinate shipments, resolve discrepancies, and meet customer requirements.

Wage: 20.00-$22.00

Shipping and Receiving Responsibilities:

• Receive and verify incoming shipments, report any issues.

• Prepare and label outgoing shipments, schedule pickups, and track deliveries.

• Operate stand-up and sit-down forklifts to move material/products throughout the warehouse.

• Maintain records of shipped and received items.

• Assist in inventory management, including counts and monitoring stock levels.

• Generate shipping documentation and ensure compliance with regulations.

• Communicate with internal teams, suppliers, and transportation companies.

Shipping and Receiving Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent.

• Experience in shipping and receiving operations.

• Knowledge of procedures, documentation, and inventory management.

• Must be able to operate sit-down and stand-up forklifts.

• Must be able to learn new computer software.

• Physical ability to lift packages and operate warehouse equipment.

Job Type: Full-time

Salary: $20.00 - $22.00 per hour
