WHAT YOULL DO
- Coordinate and execute domestic and international shipping, receiving, packaging, and freight activities in accordance with company and customer requirements.
- Process outbound shipments accurately through the company MRP system, verifying order details and preparing shipping documents, labels, packing slips, and required paperwork.
- Coordinate carrier pickups, deliveries, local transportation, and merchandise pickups while maintaining accurate shipping and receiving records in accordance with company practices and industry standards.
- Support inventory, receiving, material handling, and warehouse operations as needed; maintain an organized and efficient work area and cross-train in essential Inventory/Receiving functions.
WHAT WERE LOOKING FOR
- 2+ years of shipping, receiving, packaging, warehouse, or material-handling experience in a manufacturing environment, with working knowledge of domestic and international shipping processes.
- Proficient in MRP or inventory-management systems, with experience accurately processing orders, maintaining records, and preparing shipping documentation.
- Detail-oriented and highly organized, with the ability to verify shipment information, manage multiple priorities, work under pressure, and meet shipping deadlines.
- Dependable, team-oriented, and adaptable, with the ability to coordinate with freight carriers, cross-train in inventory and receiving functions, and support changing operational needs.
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS
This role requires the ability to regularly stand, walk, bend, reach, lift, and move products, packages, and materials throughout the shipping and receiving areas. Must be able to safely handle materials of varying sizes and weights and perform physical tasks associated with packaging, loading, unloading, and material handling.
