Primary Responsibilities:

As a Forklift Operator, you'll be a pivotal part of our team, ensuring the smooth flow of our warehouse operations. Your responsibilities will include:

1. Forklift Wizardry: Safely and efficiently operate a forklift, showcasing your skills and precision.
2. Vehicle Care: Take pride in your forklift by conducting daily inspections and ensuring proper battery watering, contributing to the longevity of our equipment.
3. Rack Maneuvering Mastery: Skillfully navigate in and out of our racking system without causing any damage to the forklift or the racks.
4. Customer Care: Pay attention to customer labels and purchase orders, ensuring pallets are placed in the right location within our warehouse.
5. Pick Ticket Pro: Learn to work with pick tickets and process Bills of Lading, showcasing your commitment to order accuracy.
6. Pallet Proficiency: Recognize various pallet types and understand the different items that belong on each pallet, contributing to efficient storage and retrieval.
7. Cold Resilience: Be prepared to withstand cold temperatures for extended periods, demonstrating your dedication to the job.
8. Loadmaster: Know how to properly load trucks, ensuring weight distribution is spot on for safe and efficient transport.
9. Safety First: Maintain a good driving record, prioritizing safety in all your operations.
10. Team Player: Be ready to take on any other responsibilities assigned by your supervisor, contributing to a seamless and collaborative work environment.

Qualifications:

To excel in this role, you should bring the following qualifications:

• You should be at least 18 years of age.
• Legal authorization to work in the United States is a must.
• Pass a pre-employment background check and drug check.
• You must be capable of regularly lifting up to 50 lbs.
• Forklift operation experience or the willingness to learn and become certified.
• A strong sense of responsibility and attention to detail.
• Exceptional problem-solving skills to handle complex warehouse logistics.
• Adaptability to work in a cold storage environment.
• A commitment to safety, both for yourself and your colleagues.
• Team spirit and the ability to contribute positively to a collaborative workplace.

Preferred Qualifications:

Though not required, having the following experience will be a bonus:

• 1-2+ years of experience in a manufacturing or production environment.

Schedule:

Monday to Thursday and some Fridays hours varied 6:00 AM ~ 6:00 PM

Compensation:

Your journey begins with training pay starting at $18.05 per hour, with the potential to reach $21.55 per hour after mastering all skill levels and experience.
