As a Shipping and Receiving Associate, you'll be responsible for managing shipments efficiently. Youll work closely with the team to ensure smooth operations and timely deliveries.
What You'll DoAs a Shipping and Receiving Associate, you will be responsible for:
- Verifying and maintaining records of incoming and outgoing shipments
- Preparing orders for shipment, ensuring accuracy in quantity and quality
- Identifying outgoing orders for proper delivery
- Fabricating containers for secure shipping of select items
- Loading and unloading trucks and containers safely
- Unpacking and inspecting incoming shipments, rejecting damaged items, and recording shortages
- Communicating with shippers to resolve shipping issues
- Maintaining inventory of shipping supplies and materials
- Operating powered forklifts safely
- Cleaning and organizing the work area at the end of each shift
- Performing miscellaneous tasks as needed to support the team
What You'll Bring
The ideal candidate for this role will have:
- Prior shipping and receiving experience
- Forklift operation skills (a plus)
- Strong attention to detail to identify quality issues
- Excellent teamwork and communication skills
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. repeatedly throughout the day

Location & Schedule:
This position is on-site in Springfield and offers work hours from 7:30AM to 4:00PM, Monday through Friday.
