Responsibilities

• Supervise and coordinate daily shipping and receiving activities.
• Manage inventory levels and ensure accurate stock counts.
• Develop and implement shipping and receiving procedures to improve efficiency.
• Train and mentor team members on best practices and safety protocols.
• Collaborate with other departments to ensure timely order fulfillment.
• Monitor and report on shipping and receiving metrics.
• Resolve any issues related to shipping discrepancies or damaged goods.
• Maintain compliance with all regulatory and safety standards.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in shipping and receiving management or a similar role.
• Strong understanding of logistics and supply chain management.
• Excellent leadership and team management skills.
• Ability to analyze data and make informed decisions.
• Strong organizational and multitasking abilities.
• Effective communication skills, both verbal and written.
• Proficiency in inventory management software and Microsoft Office Suite.
• High school diploma required; a degree in logistics or a related field is preferred.
• Shipping experience in the auotmative indusrty is a pig plus.
