Job Title: Shipping / Receiving Specialist
Pay: $18.00 / hour
Hours: First shift (Monday - Friday, 7:00 AM - 3:30 PM)

In this role, you'll play a key part in managing the flow of materials, supporting production, and ensuring accurate order fulfillment. You'll work closely with the Logistics Manager to keep everything running seamlessly and deliver exceptional service to our customers.

What You'll Do
As a Shipping / Receiving Specialist, you will be responsible for

• Operating sit-down and stand-up forklifts safely and efficiently (must possess or obtain an active forklift license)
• Removing finished goods from the audit area and transporting them to designated storage or staging locations
• Staging outgoing shipments and verifying all customer requirements before release
• Confirming labels, container counts, part numbers, and shipping details against packing lists to ensure order accuracy
• Using the Plex ERP system daily to record material movements, packaging data, and update operational details
• Setting up and operating packaging lines according to standard operating procedures
• Building shipping boxes and packaging materials according to job specifications
• Performing bin and station cleaning procedures to prevent part mixing and maintain lot integrity
• Following all safety rules, environmental policies, machine guarding protocols, LOTO procedures, and proper lifting techniques
• Supporting ISO 9001 / IATF 16949 compliance through understanding and adhering to company policies and procedures
• Maintaining a clean and organized work area at all times
• Supporting additional tasks as needed, supporting team flexibility and collaboration

What You'll Bring
The ideal candidate for this role will have

• High School Diploma or GED
• Active forklift license (sit-down and stand-up) or the ability to obtain internal recertification
• Previous experience with manufacturing ERP systems (Plex experience preferred)
• Strong understanding of plant safety, LOTO procedures, and machine guarding practices
• Excellent communication skills and a team-player attitude
• Ability to follow detailed work instructions and standard operating procedures accurately
• Knowledge of ISO 9001 / IATF 16949 standards is a plus
