Shipping and Receiving Specialist - #26-24974

Job Description:

• We are seeking an experienced Shipping and Receiving Specialist to manage the packing, unpacking, handling, storage, and shipment of sensitive equipment, components, and materials.
• The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience packaging delicate equipment to prevent damage during transportation, maintaining accurate inventory records, and coordinating material movement in a fast-paced warehouse environment.

Responsibilities:

• Perform daily shipping, receiving, packing, unpacking, and material handling activities in a warehouse environment.
• Package and unpack sensitive equipment, systems, accessories, parts, and components using appropriate protective materials and established packaging procedures.
• Ensure delicate and high-value equipment is securely packaged to prevent damage during transportation.
• Follow detailed packaging instructions for standard equipment configurations and use sound judgment when handling non-standard or specialized equipment.
• Verify incoming materials against purchase orders, invoices, and shipping documentation; identify and report damaged or incorrect items.
• Maintain accurate records of incoming and outgoing shipments, inventory transactions, and material movement.

Experience:

• Minimum of 4 years of relevant warehouse, shipping, and receiving experience.
• Hands-on experience packaging sensitive, delicate, or high-value equipment to protect against damage during transportation.
• Experience performing inventory cycle counts, material tracking, and packaging supply replenishment.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Outlook, Word, and Excel.
• Strong communication skills, including face-to-face communication, email, and Microsoft Teams.
• Ability to manage high volumes of paperwork, shipping documentation, and inventory transactions accurately.
