Advanced Personnel Resources is seeking an experienced Shipping and Receiving Supervisor for a new opportunity with our client in the Reidsville area. The Warehouse Supervisor will be responsible for the management of inventory, shipping & receiving processes, and supervision of warehouse personnel, in addition to ensuring workplace safety. This is a Direct Hire role paying in the range of 65-75K annually Work Schedule: 5 am-3 pm Number of Direct Reports: 3 (Forklift Operators- warehouse) Job Duties Assist the receiving process through receipt of verified and signed packing slips from the warehouse personnel. Enter accurate data in data system. Assist the receiving process through receipt of verified and signed packing slips from the warehouse personnel. Enter accurate data in software system. Assist in the issuance of all items retrieved from warehouse by supply room and individuals. Maintain accurate records on received and issued items. Assist employees requesting items from warehouse or purchasing office. Monitor inventory levels of supplies in warehouse. Communicate with Purchasing & Scheduling Manager if reorder levels or quantities need amending. Perform physical inventory counts weekly and at month end. Communicate to Purchasing Scheduling Manager or Supply Chain Manager of any problems encountered. Perform daily cycle counts. Backup for other purchasing roles as needed (i.e. Planner or Buyer) and directed by Purchasing & Scheduling Manager. Effectively communicates through active listening, acting on input, sharing information in an open, timely manner, while maintaining appropriate confidentiality and encouraging others to do the same. Support all safety-related policies and procedures and address opportunities with the appropriate personnel.A
