Position Overview
SIC is seeking motivated and dependable Shipping / Assembly Team Members to support our shipping operations while contributing across multiple production and assembly areas as needed. This role is ideal for individuals who enjoy hands-on work, learning new skills, and being part of a collaborative manufacturing environment.
Forklift operation is required for this role. While the primary focus will be in shipping and receiving, team members will be cross-trained and utilized in other departments based on production needs.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform shipping and receiving activities, including loading and unloading materials
- Operate forklifts safely to move, stage, and store materials
- Prepare products and equipment for shipment
- Support assembly and production operations as needed
- Use hand and power tools to assist with assembly and packaging tasks
- Read and accurately use a tape measure
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment
- Follow quality standards and safety procedures
- Communicate effectively with team members and supervisors
