Job Description:We are seeking a reliable shipping assistant to join our team with some forklift experience. The ideal candidate will assist with preparing, packaging, and shipping outgoing orders while ensuring accuracy and maintaining a safe, organized work environment. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who enjoys working in a fast-paced warehouse environment and takes pride in producing quality work.
Responsibilities:- Prepare and package customer orders for shipment.
- Verify products and quantities against packing slips and shipping documents.
- Label, palletize, and wrap shipments for safe transportation.
- Load and unload trucks using a pallet jack or forklift (if certified).
- Operate RF scanners and maintain accurate inventory records.
- Inspect products for quality before shipment.
- Maintain a clean and organized shipping area.
- Assist with receiving incoming shipments as needed.
- Follow all company safety policies and procedures.
Qualifications:- Previous warehouse or shipping experience preferred.
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds regularly.
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Basic computer and data entry skills.
- Forklift experience is preferred but not required.
- Reliable attendance and a positive team-oriented attitude.
