We are seeking a reliable and hardworking 2nd Shift Shipping Associate to join our team in Ashland, VA. This position plays a key role in ensuring products are properly staged, palletized, labeled, and prepared for shipment. The ideal candidate will be comfortable working in a fast-paced warehouse environment and assisting with loading and unloading trucks.
Responsibilities
Stage materials for shipment in designated areas.
Palletize products and prepare orders for transportation.
Band and secure shipments to ensure safe delivery.
Apply shipping labels and verify documentation accuracy.
Load and unload trucks efficiently and safely.
Assist with organizing and maintaining the shipping area.
Follow all warehouse safety procedures and company policies.
Work collaboratively with team members to meet shipping deadlines.
Qualifications
HS Diploma / GED
Previous warehouse, shipping, or logistics experience preferred.
Ability to lift, move, and handle materials safely.
Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
Dependable attendance and punctuality.
Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
