SUMMARY: Perform duties to move and store parts, supplies, Finished Goods and account for material movement throughout the process via transaction processing. Work from delivery tickets and cycle count list, written and verbal instructions. Display proficiency of duties and responsibilities in a continuous manner.
Accountabilities:
- Outbound order shipment processing
- Schedule UPS/FedEx & LTL carriers outbound order processing
- Forklift Certification
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Perform daily cycle counts via RF gun and/or SAP.
- Verify pulled materials are correct for orders.
- Use a scanner and computer to process deliveries.
- Add labels to product as needed, per customer request.
- Box, label and over pack units as required by customer.
- Deliver shipments to the correct area in department for processing.
- Load/unload trucks for shipments and receipts.
- Schedule outbound shipment via UPS, FedEx and LTL carriers per customer or Westell shipment requirements.
- Know how to create deliveries and process transfer orders.
- Know and use all SAP commands relevant to your designated area.
- Access, read and monitor relevant reports.
- Perform all inventory transactions via RF gun or computer.
- Follow safety rules and keep work area clean and orderly.
- Keep updated on relevant procedures.
- May use any of the following equipment: scale, calculator, computer terminal, hand tools, pallet jack, shrink wrapper, waste compactor, tape gun, forklift/order picker and copier.
- Regularly contribute process improvement suggestions.
- Performs other duties as assigned.
QUALIFICATIONS: To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The requirements below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required.
- High school diploma or GED equivalent preferred.
- 1-2 years material handling experience and knowledge of inventory control practices and procedures.
- Forklift certification.
- Strong working knowledge of SAP transactions.
PHYSICAL DEMANDS:
- Required to sit, stand, bend and walk regularly; lift and/or move up to 50 pounds.
- Visual and auditory ability sufficient for written and verbal communication.
- The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate.
Salary: $19.50 - $22.00
