We are seeking a shipping associate in Canonsburg, PA
Shipping and Receiving is responsible for preparing outgoing shipments and receiving incoming materials. This role ensures accurate handling, documentation, and storage of products while maintaining a safe and organized warehouse
environment.
JOB DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITIES
* Receive, inspect, and verify incoming shipments against purchase orders and
* invoices
* Unload, sort, and store materials in designated locations
* Coordinate, prepare, package, label, and ship outgoing orders accurately and on time
o Small Package-UPS, Fed-Ex, DHL
o Large Package-LTL Shipments
* Ability to cut/build wood crates for large LTL shipments.
* Maintain accurate inventory records using inventory systems
* Report damaged, missing, or incorrect items to supervisors
* Operate warehouse equipment such as pallet jacks or forklifts (if certified)
* Communicate effectively with team members, drivers, and supervisors
* Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work area
* Follow company policies and safety procedures
SKILL REQUIREMENTS
* High school diploma or equivalent preferred
* Previous shipping/receiving or warehouse experience a plus, both Domestic and International Shipping
* Basic math and computer skills
* Ability to read shipping documents and labels
* Forklift certification required (or willingness to obtain)
* Ability to lift and move packages up to 50 lbs
* Ability to stand, walk, bend, and reach for extended periods
* Attention to detail
* Time management and organization
* Ability to work independently and as part of a team
