Established organization is seeking a Shipping Associate in the Culver City, CA area. The role is Monday-Friday on site from 1:00pm-10pm. Pay ranges from $23-25/hr.
Roles and Responsibilities
- Oversee all outbound shipments, including inspection, packing, and preparation of accurate shipping documentation for both domestic and international orders.
- Monitor and maintain packaging material inventory to ensure sufficient supply for shipping operations.
- Manage the packing and shipping of customer orders, as well as coordinate logistics for trade show shipments.
- Arrange transportation and work with carriers to ensure timely and efficient delivery.
- Perform additional related tasks as required.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED required.
- 1-3 years of experience using shipping systems such as FedEx, UPS, and DHL.
- Shipping experience preferred, especially within a manufacturing environment.
- Experience handling international commercial shipments.
- Strong proficiency in Google Workspace and Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while managing multiple deadlines.
- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
- Must be a U.S. Person (U.S. Citizen or Permanent Resident) due to involvement with U.S. federal contracts.
- Employment is contingent upon successful completion of a background check and drug screening.
