Role Summary
The Shipping Associate supports daily outbound logistics for electric golf cart production. This role ensures accurate order fulfillment, proper packaging, safe loading, and timely shipment of vehicles, parts, and accessories. The position plays a key role in maintaining shipping accuracy, workflow efficiency, and customer satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities
- Pick, pack, and prepare golf carts, components, and parts orders for shipment
- Verify shipping documentation, labels, and order accuracy before release
- Safely operate pallet jacks, forklifts, and material-handling equipment
- Load outbound trucks and coordinate with carriers for pickups
- Maintain shipping logs, tracking numbers, and daily shipment reports
- Inspect outgoing products for damage, completeness, and quality compliance
- Follow all safety procedures and maintain a clean, organized shipping area
- Support cycle counts, inventory movements, and warehouse organization as needed
- Communicate with the Shipping Manager regarding delays, discrepancies, or issues
Qualifications - 1+ year experience in shipping, warehouse, or logistics operations
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and work in a fast-paced manufacturing environment
- Familiarity with shipping systems (UPS, FedEx, LTL carriers) preferred
- Experience operating forklifts or pallet jacks (certification a plus)
- Strong attention to detail, accuracy, and reliability
- Basic computer skills for shipping software and documentation
Preferred Experience - Prior work in automotive, EV, powersports, or manufacturing environments
- Knowledge of LTL freight preparation, crating, or large-item shipping
- Experience handling high-value or fragile equipment
