Shipping Associate

PRIMARY PURPOSE or JOB SUMMARY

To perform duties within the shipping area. Pulling and packing customer orders as assigned via Red Prairie.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other duties may be assigned.

1. Accurately pull and pack FEDex®customer orders, including both PAI and Beach utilizing a RF scanner and acart.
2. Accurately pull and stage truck orders using a RF scanner and a manual pallet jack.
3. To perform cycle counts using a RF scanner.
4. Utilizing a lift-truck, shrink wrap pallets for shipment.
5. Utilizing a lift-truck, load pallets on carrier trucks.
6. Perform general housekeeping within the warehouse to include mopping, sweeping, dusting, and other duties to maintain the cleanliness in the area.
7. Flexible and adaptable to priority changes.
8. Perform other assignments as required.

ACCOUNTABILITY

For accuracy of orders pulled.

QUALIFICATIONS

• High school diploma or equivalent, and Locating Information Level 4 on WorkKeys.(Talk with us about how you can earn this accreditation.)
• Previous work experience in a warehouse/shipping area.
• Ability to adapt to constant change of priorities.

EQUIPMENT AND MACHINES

Fork lift, electric lift, hand trucks, pallet trucks, carts and RF Scanners.

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS

• Requires overhead lifting up to a maximum of 60 lbs.

• Standing for long periods of time

• Repetitive bending, walking

• Pulling,pushing pallet jack, cart
