Shipping Associate
Work Hours: 1:00 PM - 10:00 PM
Position Overview
The Shipping Associate is responsible for preparing, packaging, and staging outbound orders for delivery from a fast-paced electrical supplier distribution center. This role ensures accuracy, efficiency, and safe handling of electrical components, tools, and industrial materials.
Key Responsibilities
- Pick, pack, and prepare customer orders for shipment
- Verify part numbers, quantities, and shipping documentation
- Operate pallet jacks and forklifts to move materials (training provided if needed)
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe shipping area
- Coordinate with warehouse and customer service teams to meet daily shipping deadlines
Qualifications
- Previous warehouse or shipping experience preferred
- Must be able to lift to 75 lbs repeatedly
- Ability to work on your feet in a fast-paced environment
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy
- Familiarity with electrical parts is a plus, but not required
- PPE Required: Steel-toe shoes
