Our company must foster a creative and selfmotivated atmosphere to be relevant in today's retail world and is looking for energetic and industrious people to help us build on our decades of success.The Shipping & Receiving Clerk is responsible for several duties at Jahabow, including supporting the logistics and transportation department with administrative duties in addition to data entry. Loads and unloads material within a warehouse or storage facility. Utilizes hand trucks, forklifts, hoists, conveyors, or other handling equipment to move material to and from trucks within the storage facility. Responsible for receiving incoming shipments.RESPONSIBILITIESTimely receipt of inbound shipmentsDelivery of received items to specified locationsSystem receipt of inbound shipments from other buildingsLoad trucks for outside vendor POs as well as customer shipmentsAssist in filling out BOL's for outbound shipmentsOperate Forklift to stage orders for shipmentAssist with Scheduling carriersWorking with Third Party Logistics Companies for customer routed freight as neededProviding domestic and international freight quotes as neededSupplying Third Party Logistics with accurate Bill of Ladings that need to be routedEnsuring the integrity of import/export documentation such as Bill of Ladings, Commercial Invoices, and NAFTA forms.Organizing all shipments in line with company requirementsRun reports as needed.REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONSHigh School Education or equivalent.1-2 years in LogisticsOn The Job Training or experience in similar job.REQUIRED SKILLSAbility to Navigate within the MRP SoftwareProficient in MS OfficeStrong written and verbal communication skillsSalary level will be based on experience.Jahabow offers health, dental and vision, term life, short/long term disability, 401k, accident, cancer care and hospital indemnity.
