Analog Modules, Inc. is recruiting for a Shipping Associate.
The Shipping Associate's responsibilities include, but are not limited to the following.
- Coordinates activities pertaining to verifying and keeping records on outgoing shipments.
- Prepare items for shipment per customer and sales order requirements.
- Determines items to be shipped, number of items and method of shipping from documentation folder, accounting department, or other department managers.
- Completes all shipping labels, packing slips, and tariff and declaration paperwork for interstate and international shipments.
- Contacts carrier representatives to arrange shipments.
- Generates serial number labels for all products being shipped.
- Affixes shipping labels on packed cartons.
- Assembles wooden or cardboard containers or select pre-assembled containers.
- Insert items into containers for shipping purposes. Records weights and shipping charges of shipment.
- Stamps, stencils, or glues identifying information and shipping instructions onto crates or containers.
- Examine outgoing shipments to ensure shipments meet specifications.
- Maintains inventory of shipping materials and supplies.
- Provides Supply Chain Supervisor with status reports regarding problems or accomplishments.
- Adheres to company procedures and policies regarding personnel and quality issues.
- Will be cross trained to perform stockroom duties when needed
- Other duties may be assigned.
