Shipping Associate

Position Summary:
Responsible for the accurate receiving, storing, and shipping of products and materials. This role ensures that inventory is properly accounted for and stored in the warehouse, and that shipments are prepared and dispatched in a timely and accurate manner. The Receiver/Shipper supports the logistics team by maintaining an organized, efficient, and safe work environment.

Responsibilities:
• Receive incoming shipments, verifying quantities and inspecting items for damage or discrepancies.
• Accurately record and label received items, ensuring that all inventory is properly stored and tracked.
• Pick, pack, and prepare outgoing shipments according to customer or production requirements.
• Assist with inventory management by performing regular stock checks and reporting discrepancies.
• Operate material handling equipment (e.g., forklifts, pallet jacks) safely to move inventory within the warehouse.
• Maintain accurate shipping and receiving records, ensuring timely and proper documentation.
• Communicate with the Logistics Manager and other team members to ensure smooth coordination of shipments and deliveries.
• Assist in loading and unloading trucks, ensuring products are handled carefully to avoid damage.
• Support the logistics team in maintaining a clean and organized warehouse environment.
• Adhere to safety protocols and company policies, including wearing required personal protective equipment (PPE).
• Participate in continuous improvement initiatives to optimize logistics processes and reduce errors.
• Perform other duties as assigned in support of logistics objectives.
