Nesco Resource is looking to hire a Shipping Associate in Rochester Hills, MI. This position is on the first shift, with work hours between 7:00 AM and 3:30 PM, Monday through Friday. The starting pay rate for this position is $18.00 per hour. The Shipping Associate will prepare finished products to be packaged and shipped out to customers.

Duties and Responsibilities

Associates will be responsible for the following tasks, including but not limited to:
  • Counts and verifies assemblies due to ship.
  • Moves or transports material as a trained HI-LO Operator.
  • Prepares packaging material used on the production floor for items packed out by Manufacturing.
  • Records of material used in the shipping process.
  • Ensures all Production and RMAs are shipped per the Shipping Instructions. (Using the correct packaging materials to ensure on-time shipments to our customers without damage).
  • Ensures all finished assemblies are pulled, counted, verified, and packages are marked correctly before turning in paperwork to Order Entry.
  • Verifies and approves the quantities/assembly numbers on all shipping labels provided by the Order Entry.
  • Receives and signs for deliveries.
  • Assists the Shipping Supervisor with shipping discrepancies.
  • Assists with loading packages for shipping.
