Shipping Associate

American Warehouse Services is seeking a Shipping Associate to support their operations in Salt Lake City. This role centers on receiving, inspecting, assembling, packaging, and shipping products while ensuring all inventory and shipping records are accurately maintained.
Responsibilities:
- Receive and inspect incoming shipments for quality and accuracy
- Pick, pack, assemble, and prepare orders for shipment
- Create shipping labels and maintain shipping documentation
- Enter and update inventory and shipment information in company systems
- Load and unload deliveries using forklifts and pallet jacks
- Coordinate carrier pickups and deliveries
- Maintain quality, safety, and housekeeping standards
Qualifications:
- At least 1 year of warehouse, shipping/receiving, or manufacturing experience preferred
- Strong computer and data entry skills
- Forklift and pallet jack experience is a plus
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Ability to pass a background check and drug screen
- Comfortable communicating in English
Work Schedule:
Monday through Friday, 8:30 AM to 3:00 PM.
