Title: Shipping Associate Location: Whitsett, NC Contract Duration: 12 Months Pay Rate: $18.00 USD hourly on W2 The Shipping Associate plays a key role ensuring all customer orders are accurately packed, labeled, and shipped on time Complete Description: The Shipping Associate plays a key role ensuring all customer orders are accurately packed, labeled, and shipped on time. This position supports high-volume device shipments, custom-configured systems, and kitted orders across multiple customers, including enterprise, education, and government clients. Key Responsibilities - Prepare, package, and ship customer orders following standards and customer-specific requirements. - Verify serial numbers, part numbers, and quantities prior to shipment. - Accurately scan shipments into SSC, SAP, or other shipping systems. - Coordinate with provisioning, etching, and returns teams to ensure on-time delivery of completed orders. - Generate and attach shipping labels (FedEx, UPS, DHL, or freight) and maintain tracking documentation. - Support inbound/outbound freight audits and assist with resolving shipping discrepancies. - Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area following 5S and safety guidelines. - Assist with cycle counts, stock verification, and inventory accuracy as needed. - Communicate any delays, damages, or exceptions to leadership immediately. - Support continuous improvement initiatives to enhance shipping accuracy and efficiency. Qualifications - High school diploma or equivalent required; associate degree preferred. - 13 years of experience in shipping, warehouse, or logistics (technology or manufacturing environment preferred). - Experience using shipping platforms (FedEx Ship Manager, UPS WorldShip, etc.). - Familiarity with SAP, SSC, or other ERP systems a plus. - Strong attention to detail, time management, and teamwork skills. - Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. and stand for extended periods. - Reliable, punctual, and able to work in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
