Job Title: Shipping Associate
Location: Avon, IN
Job Type: 12-Month Contract (W2)
Shift: 1:00 PM 9:30 PM
Pay Rate: $22.00 $23.00/hour

Job Summary
We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Shipping Associate to join our warehouse team in Avon, IN. In this role, you will be responsible for accurately storing inventory, preparing customer orders for shipment, processing shipping documentation, and ensuring all outbound shipments meet quality and accuracy standards. The ideal candidate is organized, safety-conscious, and thrives in a fast-paced warehouse environment.
Key Responsibilities

• Accurately store and organize products within the warehouse.
• Pick, pack, and prepare customer orders for shipment.
• Label, meter, and process packages using various freight and shipping systems.
• Process shipping transactions using the company's ERP system.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe warehouse environment.
• Prepare daily shipping activities for the following business day.
• Follow all company policies, quality standards, and warehouse procedures.
• Support Quality Management Systems (QMS), Environmental Management Systems (EMS), and other regulatory compliance initiatives.

Required Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Previous warehouse or shipping experience is preferred.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
• Basic computer skills and the ability to learn ERP systems.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Capable of working in a fast-paced warehouse environment while maintaining safety and quality standards.

Dress Code

• Closed-toe shoes are required at all times.
• Long pants must be worn; shorts are not permitted.
• Pants must be worn appropriately so undergarments are not visible.
• Hats are not permitted.
• Hooded sweatshirts are allowed, but hoods must remain down while on the warehouse floor.
• Tank tops and cutoff shirts are prohibited.
• Clothing displaying offensive words, images, or slogans is not permitted.
• Sunglasses are not allowed on the warehouse floor.
