Job Title: General Warehouse (Forklift Required Shipping Area)
Location: Carol Stream, IL
Shift: Monday Friday, 9:00 AM 5:00 PM
Pay Rate: $18/hr
We are seeking a reliable General Warehouse Associate with Forklift experience (required) to join a team that produces high-quality Bi Axially Oriented Polypropylene (BOPP) films, including plastic films, OPP film, matte finish lamination film, heat sealable film, coated films, and velvet film.
Work in the shipping area handling outgoing materials and orders
Remove plastic rolls from slitter (up to 50 lbs by hand)
Use overhead crane for materials over 50 lbs
Transport rolls to table with plastic bag, place product into bags, then move onto skid
Operate forklift and overhead crane safely and efficiently
Perform general warehouse duties as assigned
Sweep and maintain a clean and safe work environment
Label products accurately as required
Forklift experience is required
Experience working in a shipping/warehouse environment preferred
Must be able to work on your feet for the entire shift
Ability to lift up to 50 lbs; heavier items handled with crane
Steel-toe shoes required
Ear plugs recommended (provided on site if needed)
Must follow direction of assigned supervisor
