A Shipping Clerk is responsible for pulling, packing and shipping orders. This position is in Piedmont for a valued client.
Responsibilities:
Pull, pack, stage and ship orders from inventory racks and storage areas
match part numbers and quantities to shipping documents
ensure correct customer shipping addresses and shipping labels
Safely operate a stand-up or sit-down forklift
Identify low or zero stock shortages and report to supervisor
Handle products and equipment in a safe and orderly manner to prevent injury to self or others
Regular attendance required
Maintain a clean and safe work area
Perform other related duties as assigned
Requirements:
High School Diploma or Equivalent preferred
Ability to speak, read and write English clearly and understandably
Good mathematical skills using whole numbers
Good communications skills
