Shipping Clerk

Midway Staffing is currently hiring for a Shipping Clerk in Antioch, IL. If you are organized, detail-oriented, bilingual, and enjoy working in a fast-paced warehouse environment, we'd love to hear from you!

Location: Antioch, IL

Schedule:

• Monday – Friday
• 2:50 PM – 11:00 PM

Pay Rate:

• $18.00 per hour

Job Responsibilities:

• Generate bills for orders scheduled to ship.
• Process customer orders using the Oracle ERP system.
• Assist truck drivers by locating their orders and assigning dock doors.
• Contact drivers when freight has been loaded and is ready for pickup.
• Release and print the next day's orders, including copies and shipping labels.
• Respond to emails and communicate with internal departments as needed.
• Maintain accurate shipping documentation and records.
• Perform other administrative and shipping-related duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

• Bilingual in English and Spanish is required.
• Previous shipping, warehouse office, or logistics experience preferred.
• Experience using an ERP system (Oracle experience is a plus).
• Basic computer skills, including Microsoft Outlook and data entry.
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Excellent communication and customer service skills.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and multitask effectively.
