Shipping Clerk

We are currently seeking a dependable Shipping Clerk in Columbiana, Ohio. If you are reliable, detail-oriented, and eager to support a busy shipping operation, we want to hear from you.

Hours:
Monday-Friday, 7:00 am - 3:00 pm

Pay:
$16.00 per hour, based on experience
Raise available once hired in

Key Responsibilities:
  • Work in the shipping office and on the shop floor
  • Monitor truck loading and unloading
  • Pull tickets and prepare packing lists
  • Schedule shipments and coordinate with carriers
  • Weigh shipments and update information on scales
  • Input data into the computer system
  • Email packing lists and shipment details to customers

Minimum Requirements:
  • Previous experience in a shipping department preferred
  • Basic computer skills required
  • Punctuality and excellent attendance

Nice to Have Skills:
  • Experience with shipping software or inventory management (if available)
  • Ability to operate scales and other shipping equipment

Preferred Education and Experience:
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Prior shipping or warehouse experience a plus

Other Requirements:
  • On-site work environment
  • Valid certifications or licenses are not required
