Shipping Clerk

Our client, an industry leader in logistics and distribution, is seeking a Shipping Clerk to join their team. As a Shipping Clerk, you will be part of the Industrial department supporting the transportation and warehouse operations. The ideal candidate will have strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and excellent communication abilities, which will align successfully in the organization.

Job Title: Shipping Clerk

Location: Jonestown, PA

Pay Range: $22-$24

Shift: 7am - 3:30pm, Monday-Friday

What's the Job?

• Receive shipments: unload trucks and check incoming items for accuracy and damage
• Pick and pack orders: locate products, package them, and prepare for shipping
• Operate equipment: use tools like pallet jacks, forklifts (with training), or scanners
• Stock and organize: place products in correct locations and maintain inventory organization
• Maintain safety & cleanliness: follow safety rules and keep the workspace tidy

What's Needed?

• One year or more of related experience in transportation or distribution
• High school diploma or GED
• Ability to collaborate with team members and communicate effectively
• Strong skills in data entry, 10 key, and Microsoft Office
• Ability to read and interpret shipping documents, reports, and spreadsheets
