Essential Duties and Responsibilities

  • Process customer orders and prepare packing slips, bills of lading, and shipment documentation.
  • Receive incoming materials and verify quantities and documentation accuracy.
  • Schedule carriers and coordinate transportation requirements.
  • Work with warehouse and production personnel to ensure timely order fulfillment.
  • Maintain accurate shipping and receiving records.
  • Investigate and resolve shipping discrepancies and customer concerns.
  • Support inventory control, cycle counts, and process improvement initiatives.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Required Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
  • Shipping, warehouse, logistics, or manufacturing experience preferred.
  • Proficiency with ERP systems, Microsoft Office, and shipping software.
  • Ability to accurately read a tape measure.
  • Strong organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills.

Safety & Compliance Requirements

  • Follow all company safety policies, OSHA requirements, and PPE standards.
  • Complete required safety training and certifications, including forklift certification when required.
  • Report hazards, incidents, injuries, and near misses immediately.
  • Conduct required equipment inspections and follow safe operating procedures.
  • Participate in safety meetings, audits, and continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.
  • Safety is a condition of employment and an essential job responsibility.

Physical Requirements

Ability to stand, walk, bend, reach, and lift up to 50 pounds. Ability to work safely in a manufacturing and warehouse environment around moving equipment and material handling vehicles.

Work Environment

Manufacturing and warehouse environment with exposure to varying temperatures, forklifts, trailers, and production equipment. Required use of personal protective equipment as designated by company policy.
