Are you organized, detail-oriented, and comfortable keeping shipments moving in a fast-paced environment? We are looking for a dependable Shipping Clerk to join our team and help ensure customer orders are accurately prepared, documented, and shipped on time.
Schedule: Monday–Friday, 8:30 AM–5:00 PM
What You’ll Do
As a Shipping Clerk, you will play an important role in making sure products reach our customers accurately, safely, and on schedule. Your responsibilities will include:
- Preparing bills of lading, shipping labels, packing lists, and other shipping documents.
- Verifying order details, quantities, products, and shipping addresses before shipments leave the facility.
- Packaging products securely according to company standards to prevent damage during transit.
- Using shipping software and inventory management systems to process and track shipments.
- Updating shipment and inventory records using Microsoft Excel and Word.
- Coordinating with carriers and logistics partners to schedule pickups and deliveries.
- Monitoring shipments and helping resolve delays, delivery concerns, or documentation issues.
- Communicating with carriers, suppliers, delivery personnel, and internal departments.
- Assisting with inventory updates and periodic inventory counts.
- Safely operating forklifts, pallet jacks, hand trucks, and other material-handling equipment.
- Following quality policies, shipping regulations, safety procedures, and company work instructions.
- Participating in Lean manufacturing and continuous improvement activities.
- Maintaining a clean, organized, and safe work area.
- Supporting changing priorities and contributing to team problem-solving efforts.
What We’re Looking For
- High school diploma or GED preferred. Equivalent demonstrated experience may be considered.
- Previous experience in shipping, receiving, warehousing, logistics, inventory, or order processing is helpful.
- Basic computer skills and the ability to learn shipping and inventory management systems.
- Basic proficiency with Microsoft Excel and Word.
- Ability to read and follow written shipping, receiving, quality, and work instructions in English.
- Basic math skills, including addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Good organizational and time-management skills.
- Clear verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to work independently while contributing positively to a team.
- Ability to safely operate material-handling equipment or complete required training.
- Dependable attendance and the ability to work onsite Monday through Friday.

Physical Requirements
- While performing the duties of this position, the employee may sit or stand depending on the assigned workstation. The employee is occasionally required to walk and frequently required to use their hands to handle materials, operate equipment, and reach with their hands and arms.
- The employee must be able to lift and move up to 10 pounds.
- Vision requirements include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus.

Work Environment
