Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated, dependable and detail-oriented Shipping Associate to join our team.  In this role, you will play a crucial part in ensuring the smooth flow of goods shipping from our facility.  This full-time role offers steady hours and a supportive environment.  If you thrive in a fast-paced environment, enjoy working with a team and are well rounded, this is the job for you!


Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

• Pick Product, Pack & Ship for FedEx or UPS Deliveries using in-house shipping programs as well as 3rd party tools
• Proficient in shipping programs such as Ship works, Ship station or Worldship
• Critical thinking and problem solving skills
• Comfortable using a computer 
• Maintain a clean, organized workspace
• Ensure all orders are filled correctly and on-time delivery metrics are met while keeping shipping costs low
• Correctly prepare shipping orders and labels
• Assist in scheduling large shipment pick ups
• Cross-train and assist in other areas of the warehouse as needed

Qualifications

• Previous experience as a Shipping Clerk or in a similar position
• Fluent in English with good communication skills 
• Able to multi-task in a fast paced environment 
• Basic math and computer skills such as Word, Excel & Gmail.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
• Physically able to lift 50+ lbs. and stand for long periods of time
• Troubleshoot shipping issues 
• Able to work well in an open environment with others
• Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
• Willing to be cross-trained

Hours: 9:00am - 5:30pm Monday - Friday - Overtime can be made available upon approval
Pay will be determined based on several factors including the candidate's work experience, job duties and certifications.
