Shipping Clerk – Temporary Project

Location: Gainesville, TX
Pay: $25/hour
Schedule: Monday–Friday, 7:00 AM–5:30 PM (10-hour shifts)
Hours: Approximately 50 hours per week
Projected Start Date: October 5, 2026

Johnson Service Group (JSG) is seeking Shipping Clerks for a temporary project supporting our client in Gainesville, TX.

Job Responsibilities:

Prepare materials and products for shipment.
Verify shipping information, quantities, and documentation.
Label and stage shipments for pickup.
Assist with loading, unloading, and movement of materials as needed.
Maintain accurate shipping and inventory records.
Coordinate with warehouse and production personnel.
Follow safety and shipping procedures.
Perform other warehouse and shipping duties as assigned.
Requirements:

Previous shipping, warehouse, logistics, or material-handling experience preferred.
Attention to detail and ability to accurately verify shipping information.
Ability to work 10-hour shifts, Monday through Friday.
Ability to stand, walk, bend, and lift as required.
Reliable transportation to the designated off-site parking location.
Must successfully complete the required drug screening and ID badging process.
Important Project Information:

This is a temporary work-stoppage project. The assignment will end when the work stoppage/strike is resolved.
Employees will be transported by bus from a secured off-site parking area to the worksite and back after each shift.
Once at the worksite, employees will not be permitted to leave during their shift. Employees should bring lunch/snacks; vending machines are available.
Local candidates within approximately 50 miles of Gainesville are preferred. Candidates farther away may qualify for per diem when lodging requirements are met.
Drug screening will be conducted locally prior to starting.
Criminal background checks will be waived for this project.
ID badging must be completed before starting.
