Shipping Clerk Location: Warren, Michigan Shift: 100 PM - 900 PM

Position Summary: The Shipping Clerk is responsible for coordinating and processing incoming and outgoing shipments to ensure accurate and timely delivery to our customers at Warren Facility. Shift: 100 PM - 900 PM.

Essential Functions:

• Ensure FIFO (First-In, First-Out) in all outgoing finish goods. • Manages the shipment of all products, materials, and supplies. • Scheduling. • Maintain records on incoming and outgoing shipments with the correct paperwork. • Ensure to send an ASN (Advance Shipping Notification) to all applicable customers once shipment leaves. • Collaborate and communicate with the MMIs team management, customers, and other individuals involved. • Support Shippers on any work-related needs and issues. • Utilize knowledge of shipping procedures, routes, and rates. • Track and update the status of shipments. • Maintain and oversee shipping notices, bills of lading, invoices, orders, and other shipping records to understand shipping priorities and assignments. • Load and unload trucks with a forklift as needed, making sure the proper load goes on the proper truck. • Position will require extensive reaching, lifting, and climbing on and off a forklift regularly throughout the shift. • Certain jobs may require operation of manual and power hand tools.

Qualifications:

• Clear Communication Skills • High School diploma or equivalent • Scanning and sorting outgoing stock • Pulling packing and loading • Able to work independently within a team • Strong sense of time organization skills • Forklift Experience • Knowledge & Experience • 2 years Supervisory experience • 3 - 5 years experience in shipping and receiving
