Quanex is looking for a Shipping Coordinator – 1st Shift to join our team located in St. Cloud, Minnesota.
The Shipping Coordinator is responsible for organizing the finished product, loading trucks, and transferring materials to and from machining centers. As well, to lead and effectively utilize all assigned resources to complete the delivery of products in a manner to meet manufacturing requirements and delivery schedules. You will also be required to work in production as needed.
Salary: $20.50-$24.50 per hour, pay based on experience
New Hire Bonus: $1,000, payout increments at 30-days, 60-days and 6-months of employment!
Schedule: Monday – Friday, 6:00am-2:30pm, overtime may be required based on business need.

What Success Looks Like:
- Follow all safety procedures, rules, and guidelines.
- Microsoft office and ERP knowledge.
- Communicate with other Quanex locations regarding shipments, full trucks, and logistics team.
- Accurately, thoroughly, and legibly completes all documentation related to the position and communicate late or non-shipments to Customer Service and Sales.
- Promotes teamwork by cooperating and supporting co-workers.
What You Bring:
- High School or equivalent education, required.
- 6 months+ of manufacturing experience, preferred.
- 6 months+ of shipping experience, preferred.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office including excel and Teams.
- Ability to perform detailed work that requires high levels of concentration in a fast-paced environment.
- Bringing a positive attitude and team-oriented mentality.
