Fully prepares items for shipment from the incoming order to outcoming shipment.
Prepares and packs product for shipments using established procedures and policies.
Reviews Customer demands and Sales Orders for parts to ensure proper product is selected and correct Ship-to instructions are followed.
Prints Sales Orders through the use of paper instructions and computer schedules.
Stocks production parts in appropriate location utilizing barcode scanners.
Reports production through Backflushing Transactions and Allocates parts for shipping according to established and accepted practices.
Reviews Sales Orders to determine method of shipment and Freight Payment Terms.
Creates and affixes shipping labels and other markings per instructions.
Corrects problems with outgoing shipments by selecting from one or more established procedures.
Completes appropriate invoicing for outgoing shipments through the use of various computerized applications.
Performs consolidation and coordination of bulk pick-ups and shipments.
Understands and follows procedures for ISO, DOT, and Export Compliance. Knows where appropriate documentation is kept.
Performs document imaging and files related documentation per established Record Retention policies
Follows Standard Operating Procedures required within department.
Other duties maybe assigned as required.
Education, Credentials and Previous Experience:
High School Diploma or equivalent required.
1-3 years experience in manufacturing environment, shipping / receiving required.

Required to sit, stand, bend & reach.

Require near vision acuity, color vision, and visual accommodation to see and manipulate small parts at near point for extended periods of time.
Good hand/eye coordination and manual dexterity.
Rotate functions in cells as needed.
Walk on concrete and other hard surfaces.
Frequent lifting of materials <20 lbs., occasional lifting up to 26 lbs.
Must be able to lift and move heavier weights with assistance of other personnel or provided equipment.
Use of Personal Protective Equipment as required, may include safety glasses, safety shoes, hearing protection, gloves, apron and/or any other equipment deemed necessary.
Exposure to oil, grease, and dirt.
