A well-established company in Evendale, OH is looking for a full-time shipping crate builder. This is a temp to hire position.

Position Details:
1 ^st Shift Monday-Friday 7am-3:30pm
$20 per hour

Due to our continued growth, we are excited to announce a Shipping Crate Builder opportunity available at our Evendale location.

In this role, you will be responsible for constructing durable, wooden shipping crates to ensure the safe transportation of goods. The ideal candidate will possess strong carpentry skills, experience with construction materials, and the ability to interpret visual aids and basic shop prints This position offers an opportunity to work in a dynamic environment where craftsmanship, attention to detail, and safety are paramount.

Responsibilities

• Construct wooden shipping crates using various hand tools, power tools, and fabrication equipment.
• Read and interpret basic shop prints to ensure accurate assembly.
• Perform some heavy lifting and manual labor to handle large or bulky materials safely.
• Collaborate with the shipping team to ensure crates meet shipping specifications and safety standards.
• Maintain a clean and organized work area to promote safety and efficiency.
• Inspect completed crates for quality assurance and make adjustments as needed.

Experience

• Prior experience in construction, carpentry or related fields is highly desirable.
• Hands-on experience with hand tools, power tools,
• Abillity to interpret basic shop prints.
• Experience working on construction sites or in manufacturing environments.
• Knowledge of construction safety protocols and industry standards. is preferred.
